What Are You Thankful For?
Thanksgiving can be a time for both celebration and reflection. Amidst the festivities, I take time to think about the things I’m most thankful for in life.
First, I’ve got to start with my parents, who have given me tremendous support to follow my dreams of becoming an emcee.
Second, I feel so lucky to live and learn from so many talented individuals—dancers, musicians, singers, emcee partners, production members—who are united by our common goal of bringing back authentic Chinese culture.
And speaking of that culture, I’m thankful for the heavens for passing down 5,000 years of “divinely inspired culture.”
I’m also thankful for the artistic freedom we have here in the West to express this culture, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share it with millions around the world.
Most importantly, I’m thankful for all the audience members, local presenters, and generous sponsors who have supported us over the years—without you, we won’t be where we are today.
Although everyone’s path is different, I hope we all have experiences that remind us that life—in spite of its hardships and unpredictables—is meant to be treasured. This Thanksgiving, I’m thinking how great it is to learn from those lessons and live our lives to the fullest.
So, this Thanksgiving, what are you thankful for?
